Huggers. 000. Whatever you do, I hope they check your blood count and enzymes and all those other dip sticks. You could be depressed, or just plain regular ill. (Either is yucky.) Note re. fun with condoms. I found at least four different versions of the "no hands" method. (Some folks say to roll the condom down the shaft with one's fingers, but where's the fun in that?) This link gives the best description (scroll down to the last option on the screen). (Hint practice on a banana, or an "enthusiastic" guy who doesn't mind biding his time while you giggle hysterically, and blow it (so to speak) a couple of times. Ah, memories... http://nawtythings.com/condoms_use.html

Aim- Don't be so hard on yourself! Silly. That's why we started reading each other's diary's. So when life was happening and phone calls can't be made, we could still be there for each other. Do whatever it is that you need to do for you. I will always stand behind any decisions that you feel like are the right ones. -Jill

I am 100% behind you on making an appointment with a therapist. Btw, I found mine through the NY Psychotherapy Group. Depression sucks, but recognizing that you have it and looking for ways to deal with it is important. Hey, I may be on Zoloft for the rest of my life and that's fine with me-- better than thinking about hurling myself in front of subway trains. And do get a physical, or at least some blood work done. Depression or not, low iron's also a bitch sometimes. Lethargy ahoy...

I second (third? fourth?) what everybody else said, I hope you do what you need to do to feel better.

Also, in my professional capacity, you want to lie down. Someone else would have to lay you down. Just in case you wanted to know. Your Friendly Neighborhood Copy Editor

You guys are, of course, great. Do I say that enough? Too much? Well, I'm saying it again.

I've printed out the list of in-network practitioners who are near my office (cause I know that if the commute is too out of the way, I won't keep up with it.) So it's sitting there. Now just to make the phone call...

Thanks, Brian, for the clarification. I can never remember which one is transitive and which is intransitive. There must be a mnemonic somewhere to keep the two straight!
